Guided meditation is a form of meditation where someone else, whether in person or recorded, talks to you and helps you through the steps of meditation. The reader enables you to relax and then gives you the scenes you will visualize during your meditation.
Guided meditation is one of my first loves when it comes to spirituality and finding relaxation. I have personally used guided meditation to slow my heart rate while I was diagnosed with high blood pressure, to help me sleep at night when faced with insomnia, and to help me move past negative moments.
